Passionate about penguins? That's me! I also have a fondness for being playful and silly. Combining these traits gave birth to Moe the Penguin, who initially served as the "spokes-penguin/mascot" for my jewelry business. Through Moe, I could let my inner child shine.

At 50, I never imagined I would be writing children's books, but here I am! I reside in Missouri with my husband and our furry companion, Dory. Together, we have 5 grown children and 6 grandchildren. The younger grandchildren inspired me to create my first book, "Moe and the Annoying Little Brother".

Ideas for Moe's stories just seem to appear in my mind. I maintain a character list that serves as a well of inspiration. Occasionally, like with "Moe Helps Snuggles Find Her Pebble", a simple online sighting of otters and pebbles sparks the creation of a new story.
